The tragedy hit Ifoh camp in the Abakpa area of Enugu State, Monday, when a man, who lost his phone while loading it in a tent, allegedly pinned his teenage apprentice on the fire. A witness said the suspect, identified as Kelechi, poured gas into his apprentice Junior's body and turned it on. Kelechi alleged that Junior left his hair salon, where the mobile phone was charged, which led to the theft of the phone. Vanguard met that the victim was rescued with serious burns and taken to the hospital. Enugu State Police spokesman Superintendent Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the story, said the suspect was quickly arrested by police officers and is helping in the investigations.
