HOW TO BE HRH MEGHAN MARKLE: THE ETIQUETTE OF BECOMING A 'ROYAL OTHER HALF'

Meghan Markle is not opposed to a challenge. We know because the 36-year-old actress has accepted roles in b films and games that would thrill the diva. She is not the type of saying no, preferring to roll and get stuck in any drama - real or fictitious - comes her way. Like going with Prince Harry, 33, the free spirit that previous friends had failed.

Now, Markle might be on the verge of meeting his biggest challenge yet - getting married in the royal family. Only one year and two months since Harry met Meghan, the whispers of St. James suggest that a commitment is imminent.

On Saturday night, she made a public appearance at the Invictus Games, joining Harry in Toronto (where she lives) at the Paralympic competition, founded three years ago. She already knows her circle of friends, and is said to have met the Queen. The prince even issued a statement, confirming that they were a couple and asking the press to go back, a very unusual step that suggested Meghan is not a flash in the pan.
Other factors indicate that the Los Angeles native will soon have official status. She stopped the promotional work (although it does appear on the cover of Vanity Fair this month after giving a carefully non-revealing interview). She also refused a contract to appear in the next series of Costumes - the surprised legal drama that made her acting career. But perhaps the most important clue lies in the fact that Meghan abandoned the lease on her car in Canada, a mundane but concrete evidence that supports rumors that she plans to spend more time in Britain starting in November.

So, what else can she expect from life here, like any other Royal? She has already been visited shopping on High Street Kensington, which the Duchess of Cambridge can attest, is a prerequisite. But what other ups and downs are coming? Kate is currently aware of childcare and has a severe morning sickness, so it will probably be too busy to give advice. But do not worry, Meghan, we're here to help. Here's how to survive in the office ...
Clothes

Stay simple. No one likes the show-off, and the newest member of the royal family, it is important not to move someone higher up from the hierarchical order - as when the background of Pippa became the focus of discussion of the marriage of William and Kate. You do not want to become famous for your property. Much better to establish the reputation and embellishment amusing to the royal life - like Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall - than the vinaigrette horse (think Fergie around 1985), or the gap yah type (think Chelsy's envy Davy for dangly earrings and large pearl necklaces). And watch out for the curse of the jigsaw. Dress up too dull and you will be marked boring (Kate, around 2008). British brands - Mulberry, Erdem, Preen and Hunter - and you should have all the bases covered.

How to behave

Nothing diffuses tension and a great flash of teeth - something that Cressida Bonas, in search of her love, has never mastered. Gossip is also important: study the Queen's use of prosaic opening lines and borrow some jokes from William and Harry - but not Prince Philip.
Self-depreciation decreases as well, as do gentle provocations, and a thorough knowledge of a niche topic, such as Gloucestershire Roads B, may be useful for small conversations. Always keep your knees very close when entering and leaving everything (cars, helicopters, nightclubs). The latest royal friends, like Chelsy, have struggled to adapt to the attention that surrounds the relationship with Prince Harry, but as a professional actress, you will face. It's like being on the red carpet every day, without having to make a movie.
Meet the family

You will already have learned to kick - one foot in front of the other, a nice curve of the knees. Other useful tips include not volunteering, unless you ask for it; feigning the love of corgis and dogs in general - which should not be a problem since you have two of you; avoiding commenting on other family members, at least until you are married; and pretending to love very cold places like Scotland and Norfolk, who, having spent 7 years in Canada, will have no problem to do.

To get to the right side of Prince Charles, it would be wise to express an interest in architecture, botany, painting and Aston Martins. A healthy appetite and a thirst for liqueur
