Love Island’s Alex Beattie reveals he’s had a secret hair transplant after being bullied for his big forehead
THE reality star sought advice from Jake Quickenden before going ahead with the procedure.
The 22-year-old star of Love Island has said how he was intimidated by the size of his forehead - something he said is genetic - that affects his self-esteem.
He sought the advice of Jake Quickenden before his Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) transplant and is excited to see the results.

"It was not really a sudden decision," he said. "There have only been two things that I felt insecure in my life, and that's when I felt very skinny in school and the height of my forehead.
"I have not had any hair loss or anything, it was just the height of my forehead, it's a genetic thing that runs through all the guys in my family - a taller hair and I've always been disgusted. treatment and have always wanted to do it, but now I have the opportunity to allow myself to do it.

"At school I used to be chosen for having a big front and being skinny, obviously I could change my body by going to the gym and that was a consistent thing in four / five years and I even ended up earning trophies for him so my hair was only remaining to order ".
Alex started hitting the 17-year-old gym and told him how he did not make significant progress for 18 months, but his dedication finally paid off, with him gaining skills for his physique.
But he could not shake the anxieties of her hair.

He said: "There were only a few people who really knew it, close family, my best friends and also Montana knew when we were on Love Island because I told her in the villa.
"I originally heard about KSL Hair from Jake Quickenden because he had the same procedure done. They have clinics all over the place, but I went to the Glasgow. Jake posted online about having to do it and I sent him a message explaining how unsure I was over my hair.
"It was very supportive and it was nice to have that comfort of knowing that I already had it and that it had worked".

Describing the procedure, Alex explained how the hairs were taken from the back of his head and transplanted into the front of his scalp.
"The clinic is based on a hairline, depending on where the muscle is in the forehead, and then give you a couple of injections and take the graft of your hair to use for the transplant," he said.
"Then you get a couple of injections around the hairline on your forehead and then make the incisions and put the graft in. It's as clever as they do. It's like anesthesia they wear out, and it's a little tender, but not major pain that if you brushed. "
