Just in: Buhari appoints Aishah Ahmad as new CBN deputy governor

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday presented the name of Aishah Ahmad to the Senate for confirmation as new Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN. President Buhari, in a letter to the Senate, also requested the confirmation of Adeola Adenikinju; Aliyu Sanusi; Robert Asogwa and Asheikh Maidugu as members of CBN's Monetary Policy Committee to replace four other members whose term will expire at the end of 2017.
