BRANSON BACKLASH: Furious outrage at claim Brexit will be reversed when Leave voters DIE

RANTING Richard Richard Branson has provoked rage online after suggesting Brexit could be reversed because his supporters are dying.
The claim was the latest in a series of anti-Brexit rolls of millionaire magnate Virgin, who said leaving the block would be "the saddest thing that ever happened to Europe."
Richard Branson is a hardcore Remainer
Mr. Branson, who lives in the British Virgin Islands, suggested that people who voted to leave were older Britons who would pass away in the next few years.

He told RTE: "The older generation is dying.
"So if there's a second referendum before Brexit happens - I'm sure the Tory party will do everything possible not to let that happen - but I think within five years there will be a government in power in Britain that will ask to Europe for an opportunity to let Britain in.

"Because there will be so many young people who will be a little older by then and so many of the older grandparents who voted for Brexit will have died, I think Britain will become part of Europe again."
Richard Branson said Brexit could be reversed
His comments have caused outrage in social media with people hitting on the "selfish" entrepreneur and some even asking for a boycott of his company services.
Brian Berridge enraged, "So Brexit's success depends on whether we live or die soon.

"Most likely Mr. Branson could see you."

And Gordon Grove tweeted, "What a shameful way to see this! Boycott all your marks.
Another tweeter wrote: "Branson does not even live in the UK.

"Who the hell wants to tell us?" Brexit is really improving the UK. "

And another Brexit supporter predicted: "The EU will die before us."

Others called his argument "shameful" and accused him of being arrogant and out of touch.
During his interview, the 67-year-old also attacked Brexit's defenders as Boris Johnson.

He accused the franchise of a "false misrepresentation of reality" for his demands during the referendum.

And complained: "Britain was doing very well before the Brexit announcement.

"Since the announcement of Brexit, we have fallen to the lowest European countries as far as Brexit, and this is just a sample of what is going to happen.

"I think Britain will continue to slide down and down. That is very sad.
