BBC Breakfast: Fans lose it as Dan Walker makes OUTRAGEOUS remark 'I beg your pardon!'

BBC BREAKFAST fans were stunned when Dan Walker made a shocking innuendo live on air earlier today.
Discussing an outrageous football blunder, which the show called "the worst miss in history", the presenter could not help but slip into his own cheeky comment.

"I would have subbed myself, immediately," the 40-year-old muttered.

Although the BBC Breakfast team moved quickly from the potential euphemism, viewers did not miss it and flooded to Twitter in disbelief.
One wrote: "Nearly just choked on my porridge which could be a euphemism for what I thought I heard @mrdanwalker just say."
Twitter reaction
Another added along with a clip of the moment: "I beg your pardon," while a third joked: "@mrdanwalker you'd do what to yourself immediately?"

A fourth commented: "Did Dan just say what I thought he said !? (Oh ... 'subbed-off!') Oh..OK as you were."
The biggest gaffes on TV
One more viewer said: "You did say you would have 'subbed' yourself off did not you? #footballmisses."
This follows a dramatic installment of BBC Breakfast yesterday which saw Dustin Hoffman shut down an interview with Charlie Stayt.

What's more, reporter Steph McGovern was left red-faced when her microphone pack fell off during a broadcast.
