After grand premiere, Blade Runner 2049 storms cinemas

After a grand opening on Wednesday, October 4, a new Hollywood science fiction film, Blade Runner 2049, hit theaters around the country last Friday, and has since attracted moviegoers to the box office.



The premiere, which took place amidst soft music, drinks and canapés at the prestigious Silverbird Cinema on Victoria Island, Lagos, attracted celebrities such as Mr. Jonathan Murray-Bruce, executive director of the Silverbird Group; Ugochi Ihezue, the most beautiful girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2017; Emmanuella Yaboh, MBGN Miss ECOWAS, and Stephanie Agbasi, MBGN Miss Universe, who dazzled the red carpet, posing for the paparazzi and answering questions from the press.

In fact, Blade Runner 2049, visually striking and with great narrative satisfaction, will touch the sensitive fiber in the hearts of film lovers, as they crowd in theaters from Friday 6 October, when the film officially opened in the whole country.

Set in California in a futuristic year 2049, Blade Runner is a remake of the 1982 film Riddly Scott, Blade Runner, which itself is based on the novel by Philip K. Dick, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.

Aside Harrison Ford and Rhyan Gosling, the film parades other actors of the season like Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Lennie James, Dave Bautista, Carla Juri, Jared Leto, Mackenzie Davis and Sylvia Hoeks.
