Barcelona chief reveals club will chase Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho in January
BARCELONA have warned Liverpool that they will come with a new offer to get Philippe Coutinho in January.
Catalan giants saw three attempts to sign the player rejected in the summer, including a final offer of £ 117million, the Reds holding the firm despite the 25 year old submitting a transfer request.

But his determination is to be tested once again with an increasing offer in January after Barça's chief executive Oscar Grau said they are preparing an offer that Liverpool can not refuse with money from the sale of Neymar.
"We are ready to sign Coutinho or any other player that the technical staff requests in the winter window," Grau said.

"We want to have the most competitive team possible, the club will be sustainable, we do not want losses, if that is the case, we will seek ways to generate revenue."
Liverpool is considered angry over the latest attempt by Barcelona to destabilize their player and could dispense with the distraction in the week that they lost to Sadio Mane for six weeks to a hamstring injury in the international service.
In addition, Manchester United rivals arrive at Anfield on Saturday for a Premier League clash.
But while his position on the player remained officially unchanged with the inflexible club that does not part with him in the middle of a season, Coutinho still understands that he is interested in a move to Spain.

Barcelona could have to approach Liverpool's £ 183m valuation for a player Liverpool re-signed into a five-year deal in January 2017 but if they do the Premier League club will find it difficult to say no again .
Barcelona sold the Neymar end to Paris St Germain for a world record of £ 198m in August, before spending £ 97m on Ousmane Dembele of Borussia Dortmund.
Coutinho has shown no sign of being distracted recently despite his attempts to force a move in the summer.
After losing the first seven games of the Liverpool campaign, the offensive midfielder has scored in his last three matches.
Meanwhile, Kenny Dalglish has supported Coutinho as key to Liverpool this weekend.
"I'm a little biased," he told the Daily Mail.
"Every goal we score is important if it means we'll get points against them.
"The manager, he will be key to us, he dictates things. Mohamed Salah has been an excellent signing for us.
"It looks very exciting and he has scored a few." With Philippe Coutinho back, he has done very well and we are pleased to see him playing so well.
