Overwatch LEAK: Halloween 2017 event just the tip of the iceberg for Blizzard

OVERWATCH Halloween 2017 event is just the tip of the iceberg for Blizzard, as evidence of a new project emerges.
The developer of Overwatch Blizzard is working on more than the 2017 Halloween event.

As fans count toward the start of the Halloween Horror event, new evidence has emerged from a possible Overwatch or Spinoff sequel.

Blizzard has published an ad for a new art intern in one of their studios. The selected candidate will work on an unannounced project with links to Overwatch.

"An unannounced project at Blizzard is looking for an intern to help create a wide range of assets to help our game come to life," the post says.

"You will work closely with our concept, environment and character teams to create hard surfaces and organic decorations, weapons and possibly characters that are both retail and consistent with the artistic style we have defined."

But what really excites the fans is the mention of Overwatch. Candidates must have "knowledge and understanding of the Overwatch universe".

A spin-off, a sequel or something completely different? Hopefully we will find it soon.
Meanwhile, fans can watch the Halloween Horror event, which is released later today.

The Halloween event will be launched with 50 new items as well as a plethora of legendary skins.

This includes new outfits for Reaper, Mei, Symmetra and Zenyatta, as well as a number inspired by Van Helsing for McCree.

Fans can also expect the return of the Junkenstein's Revenge gameplay.
In a modified version of the Eichenwalde map, Junkenstein's Revenge is described as the first Overwatch PvE fight.

Players can choose between McCree, Soldier: 76, Hanzo or Ana for the event, which has three different levels of difficulty.

"Team up with three other players and confront a number of mysterious enemies, including Dr. Junkenstein himself, Junkenstein's Monster, the Reaper, a mysterious witch and a host of zombies," says last year's Halloween Terror blog.

"This terrifying account follows Dr. Jamison Junkenstein, an inventor and scientist who was once employed by the Lord of Adlersbrunn.

"Junkenstein's dream was to create artificial life, but the Lord of Adlersbrunn made fun of the scientist and his creations, calling him a fool and dismissing him from service." Despised, Junkenstein vowed to prove the evil lord, and when an unexpected visitor appeared and offered the key to perfecting his creation, the Junkenstein Monster was born.

"Now Junkenstein plans his revenge against the Lord of Adlersbrunn, and only four heroes stand in the way."
