Barcelona vs Las Palmas behind closed doors: Live updates amid Catalonia vote unrest
The BARCELONA match against Las Palmas is ON, but will be held behind closed doors.
Barcelona has issued a statement condemning the violence that has erupted over Catalonia's vote for independence today.

"FC Barcelona condemns the events that have taken place today in many parts of Catalonia to prevent its citizens from exercising their democratic right to freedom of expression," the statement said.
"Given the exceptional nature of the events, the Board of Directors has decided that the FC Barcelona match against Las Palmas will be played behind closed doors following the refusal of the Professional Football League to postpone the game."
It is said that Barcelona's own players have held a debate with the club directors today at 3.15pm.
Barcelona was assured by the security chiefs that its League party with Las Palmas could go ahead while Catalonia launches a controversial vote on independence.
The Barcelona board, however, wanted the game to be suspended - only for the League to step in and not accept the decision.
Both sets of players have started their warm-up before kick-off.
Meanwhile, Vice President Carles Vilarrubi would have offered his resignation on the events at the Camp Nou today.
